Brahim Ouchelh was born in Salé in 1945. Trained in science at the University of Rabat and in geology in Grenoble and Nancy. He began his career as a geologist before becoming a company director in Paris. Politically committed, he was active in the UNFP (Union nationale des Forces populaires). He fought for human rights in Morocco. After 24 years in exile, he returned to Morocco in 1994. He now lives in Paris.
