Attributions
The Budget and Public Procurement Department has three main missions:
- together with the authorizing officer, it prepares the budget and its modifications (DBM) during the year;
- it handles the authorizing officer's accounting by committing, preparing and liquidating mandates and issuing revenue bonds;
- it participates in defining purchasing policy and handles the awarding of public contracts from the drafting of consultation dossiers to the awarding of contracts. It ensures administrative follow-up of contract execution.
Composition
It comprises 16 members:
- 9 ex-officio members: the President of Inalco, the Vice-President, the Vice-President of the Scientific Council, the General Manager, the Accounting Officer, the Director of Financial Services and 3 IATS representatives elected to the Board of Directors;
- 7 members elected from and by the members of the Board of Directors: 4 representatives of teaching staff and 3 student representatives.

As an offshoot of the Board of Directors, the disciplinary sections exercise disciplinary authority over teachers, teacher-researchers and users.
Composition of the disciplinary section with regard to users
The disciplinary section with regard to users is made up of 16 members distributed as follows:
- 4 representatives of teaching and research staff from college A elected to the board of directors;
- 4 representatives of teaching and research staff from college B elected to the board of directors;
- 8 representatives of users elected to the board of directors.
Composition of the disciplinary section for teaching staff
The disciplinary section for teaching staff comprises 10 members as follows:
- 4 representatives of teaching and research staff from college A elected to the board of directors;
- 4 representatives of teaching and research staff from college B elected to the board of directors;
- 2 representatives of tenured staff performing teaching duties and belonging to another body of civil servants.

The social commission is involved in social action for IATS and teaching staff.
Composition
- 4 representatives of the administration: the director general of services, the director and deputy director of human resources, the accounting officer, the head of the occupational health and safety social action department;
- 2 staff representatives;
- the social assistant.
