DECRIPT launch day
The official launch of the DECRIPT program - Dispositif d'Études des Crises et Récits civilisationnels par la Pluridisciplinarité et les Terrains - will take place from 9am to 6pm, in the presence of the project leaders, consortium partners and Professor Sanjay Subrahmanyam (Distinguished Professor of History, Irving & Jean Stone Chair in Social Sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles), who will deliver an inaugural lecture in the morning entitled Empires, nations, networks: the factories of civilizational narratives.

The day will provide an opportunity to present the scientific objectives and aims of this multidisciplinary research program, led by Inalco with 15 partner institutions and over 40 stakeholders.
The afternoon will be devoted to the presentation of digital exploration tools that will be mobilized as part of the program, followed by collaborative workshops aimed at opening up discussion between researchers and practitioners from partner institutions, around workgroups declining the interactions between civilizational narratives, conflicts and governance arrangements in several key regions.
