February 1988, at the height of the Iran-Iraq war. Ako, a young Kurd, dreams of fleeing the country, while his wife Selma refuses to do so as long as her father is alive. Forced into Sadam Hussein's army, Ako is sent to the front. A malnourished soldier, he searches in vain for the "right wound" to be demobilized. One day, he receives an order to return the remains of a war martyr to his family. He is accompanied on this mission by an Arab cab driver. One Kurd, one Arab, and on the roof of the cab, the martyr's coffin wrapped in an Iraqi flag. This strange convoy crosses the country from south to north, with the Kurdish mountains at the end of the road. Perhaps the opportunity for Ako to finally flee the country.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with Amr Ahmed, lecturer in Kurdish Sorani language and literature at Inalco, Nazmi Kirik, actor in the film, and Simon Suleymani, president of KOSI.

Projection in partnership with the Kurdish Filmmakers Association of Paris (KOSI).

The event will be followed by a buffet in the auditorium foyer.
