Olympic Games podcast workshop

On March 1, 8 and 15, 2024

The Service de l'évènementiel et de l'action culturelle offered three workshop sessions to produce a podcast on the theme of sport and the Olympic Games. Led by Léo Berthe, author and producer of podcasts, these sessions enabled students to learn about sound recording, writing and recording a sound capsule.

The project revolves around the writing and recording of a sound capsule of around 5 minutes per group that deals with the Olympic Games. This is a free format, but with a few guidelines (a chronicle on the Olympics, a micro-trottoir, a word from the Olympics in a foreign language analyzed, a sports moment recounted, etc.). The whole is edited and mixed by the speaker. The capsules are then uploaded to the Ausha platform.

Listen to the podcasts on Ausha

The Witches of the Orient - This podcast tells the intriguing story of the Japanese women's volleyball team that made its mark on the 1967 Olympic Games, and the world of sports animation. Find out who was behind this historic, often forgotten victory.

Sport minutes - With humor and simplicity, we wanted to take you with us on a discovery of street sports recently included in the big group of Olympic sports: skateboarding and breaking.

Fights beyond the tatami - Discover a unique perspective on the issue of student housing in the run-up to the Olympic Games! It's all presented by a collection of pastiches from sports commentators, who are sure to liven up each challenge with a touch of... well-felt irony. A student from Paris thus tells us a story that interweaves judo, camaraderie and personal challenges.

Radio Gold Medal - Excellence, respect and friendship, these are the values of Olympism. For some, the first tends to take precedence over the other two. The most convincing example is Russia, a controversial nation. Between doping scandals and a tense international context, the participation of its athletes in the Paris Olympic Games is far from unanimous. How far can Russia go to reach the top?
