For all, an English level of TOEIC 700 is required (or other equivalent TOEFL, Cambridge... test).

If your file requires it, you will be called for an interview and/or a language test.
In order to improve the quality of teaching, this diploma welcomes a maximum of 30 students.

To apply for the Diplôme d'établissement CILO, an application file must be sent via the eCandidat platform and must include:

  • an application form to be completed and scanned (downloadable from the eCandidat platform)
  • a cover letter written in French setting out your professional project (1 page)
  • a transcript of grades for the first semester of the current year (if you are currently a student)

  • for foreign students without a French state diploma (example: licence), official attestation of C1 level French (TCF or DALF)
  • results of TOEIC Listening & Reading level 750 or equivalent (TOEFL, Cambrige, IELTS) - except for candidates for whom the study of the English language is integrated into the current university curriculum or validated very recently (example: LEA English - Chinese)

For foreign students, a sworn translation of all documents supplied not written in French is required.

Students from outside Inalco (and, if need be, some Inalco students) whose applications have been accepted by the first committee will be invited to an interview and possibly a language test in June.

In all cases and due to a limited number of places, it is compulsory to apply for several different similar master's degrees in the spring, in order to pursue a master's degree if this is the student's choice.

Admission of students graduating from Inalco's Diplôme d'Etablissement "Commerce International et Langue orientale" (CILO)

The certificate must be validated for passage to Master 1. It is your responsibility to follow up and complete your file, otherwise it may be discarded. All applications are examined in June/July.

Student applications will be admitted according to the following criteria:

  • have obtained the certificate without compensation (i.e. have validated each course with the minimum mark of 10/20)

Other applications from Inalco students not meeting these criteria will be examined and possibly retained depending on results and the number of places available.

ISSUES IMPORTANT
Students on the LLCER "international business" or certificate course are assessed in the same way with no preference for either option.

Passage from M1 to M2

Passage from M1 to M2 will be automatic if the student has passed his/her Master 1 and validated his/her compulsory internship. However, the student will have to complete a file to apply for Master 2. Students who have obtained their M1 with compensations will be examined on a case-by-case basis by the M2 admission jury.

Applications to M2 from outside will be subject to selection on the basis of a dossier and then a systematic interview at a second stage.
The TCF 5 for non-French speakers is still required.
