Contenu central

The SAFE project aims to prepare and implement a mechanism to select around 60 endangered researchers from around the world (outside the EU) through a call for projects; those selected will receive a one- to two-year grant for a PhD or post-doc research stay at a host institution located in the European Union. Researchers will also benefit from dedicated training and events enabling them to envisage and anticipate the next steps in their careers.

Researchers' applications will be submitted directly by potential host establishments. Only one application may be submitted per establishment.

It is within this framework that Inalco's Direction de la Recherche, de la Valorisation et des Etudes Doctorales (DiRVED) is launching this internal call with the aim of verifying the eligibility of candidates on the one hand, and preparing the selection process for the Conseil Scientifique (CS)which will rule on the single application to be submitted in response to the SAFE call at institutional level.

Inalco's internal call for applications will take place in 2 phases:

- Phase 1 "Eligibility": submission of eligibility forms by applicants. Verification of the eligibility of applications according to the criteria set by the SAFE call by the Project Development Support Unit and announcement of the preliminary results ;
- Phase 2 "Application": submission of complete application files by applicants whose eligibility has been verified by the Project Development Support Unit. Evaluation of applications by the Scientific Council (SC) and selection of the single application for Inalco.

You can read thefull conditions of the call for applicationshere.

Theeligibility form (Phase 1) is to be sent to DiRVED's Project Development Support Unit at projets-dirved@inalco.fr before December 31, 2024 at 11:59pm.

The eligibility form is to be downloadedhere.
