Third factors in language design. The view from heritage languages
Workshop in English organized as part of the IRN "Heritage Languages in Europe" project (CNRS-Université Paris 8).
This event brings together researchers working on heritage languages from a formal perspective. Factors influencing the development of heritage languages, such as the principle of economy, will be discussed. Interventions will focus on identifying and defining these factors and on how heritage languages can shed light on their inventory.
