Chinese studies
Études chinoises is an annual journal of general Sinology. It covers all historical periods and all disciplines, such as history, philosophy, literature, linguistics, archaeology or anthropology.
Its vocation is to promote original and unpublished work by French and foreign researchers. Texts are published in French or English, with additional abstracts in Chinese, ensuring that the journal's international outlook is in line with its wide distribution: more than half of institutional subscriptions are taken outside France.
Études chinoises provides scientific information in the form of thematic dossiers, specialized or bibliographically-oriented articles, research notes and numerous book reviews, offering access to recent sources in the world of research on China to all, specialists and non-specialists alike.
