Presentation
This book is intended to help French speakers learn the Turkish language, through an understanding of the logic behind the conjugation of its verbs. In Turkish, the verb should be viewed as a nucleus surrounded by elements that are added on and complete it: suffixes, expressing tenses, persons, negation, moods, etc.
After defining the various tenses, simple and compound (which are not exactly the same as in French), and outlining the basic formulas, this work presents the essential tense and person suffixes and offers tables with the conjugation of simple verb tenses. It additionally provides an index of Turkish verbs, which associates each verb with its group, taking into account the consonants at the end of the verb root and the vowel of the final syllable that determines the functioning of vowel harmony. This book is a practical guide to Turkish verbs, which includes the description of tenses and moods, the rules of conjugation and summary tables.
