Support for the "Stand Up For Science" day on March 7, 2025

This day of mobilization, supported by France Universités, comes against a backdrop of brutal attacks by the Trump administration on scientific institutions and the freedom of research: substantial budget cuts to university budgets, arbitrary questioning of certain research and teaching programs, serious attacks on academic freedom through the banning of certain concepts and notions, the deletion of data and publications and the intimidation of researchers, attacks on the integrity of several scientific agencies, impediments to international collaborations, etc.

At a time when our democracies, their principles and their values, are under increasing attack from ever more diverse actors, it seems to us more essential than ever to forcefully reaffirm the importance of knowledge and science.

To this end, a march is planned for:
