Nominations open for student elections
Campus life
Become a player in your studies!
Do you want to get involved at Inalco, to take part in decision-making concerning the life of the establishment and to be able to give your opinion and defend the interests of students? Now's the time to stand for election to become a student representative on one or more of Inalco's boards!
You can stand for the Board of Directors, the Scientific Council (reserved for doctoral students), the Board of your department or field, or the Master's Training Commission (for master's students only).
How to stand as a candidate?
Identify the board you'd like to stand for, then look for one or more other students (depending on whether it's a single-member or slate system) to stand with you. Then fill in the necessary nomination forms (available here or at office 4.41) and drop them off at office 4.41 by December 1 at 12pm, along with signed photocopies of each candidate's student ID card, and a profession de foi if appropriate.
You'll find all the information you need for your candidacy in this guide:
[Guide du candidat aux élections étudiantes]
Any more questions? Need advice?
Three office hours will be organized during the candidacy period, so you can ask any questions you may have to a student elected representative, seek her advice, and meet other interested students with whom to present yourself. Make the most of it!
