Inalco partner of the 2022 edition of La Fabrique Défense

The SIO-IP team and students from the International Relations program will be present at La Fabrique Défense from January 28 to 30, 2022, in the "Research and Training" area. Organized by the French Ministry of the Armed Forces, this trade show aims to raise young people's awareness of defense issues and careers, by giving them the opportunity to meet and talk to professionals in the sector.

La Fabrique Défense from January 28 to 30, 2022

A key meeting place for all players in the defense ecosystem, La Fabrique Défense is a unique event, aimed at contributing to the development of a European strategic culture among the community of young Europeans (15-30 years old), whatever their educational background, social and territorial origins or professional objectives.
The Paris event will include an area dedicated to European defense, which is fully in line with the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (PFUE).

La Fabrique Défense 2022 is:

  • More than a hundred events in France and throughout Europe
  • A closing event featuring more than 130 partner stands
  • A rich program of round tables and testimonials
  • A bookshop area hosting book signings
  • Event areas featuring serious games (negotiation simulations, wargames), historical re-enactments, as well as outdoor demonstrations (drones)

L'Inalco at La Fabrique Défense

The SIO-IP team and students from the International Relations stream will be present at this second edition of La Fabrique Défense to present Inalco's training courses, in particular the International Relations and Automatic Language Processing streams.
Julien Vercueil, professor of economics at Inalco, will take part in the round table "EU-Russia relations" on Friday January 28 from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm.
