Contenu central
On July 8, 2022, the Fondation Inalco, represented by its president Philippe Advani, and the Institut national du patrimoine (Inp), represented by its director Charles Personnaz, signed a partnership agreement linked to the development of heritage knowledge in exposed cultural areas.
Three projects are envisaged between the two institutions:
- The development of multilingual heritage glossaries, focused on archaeology, preservation and conservation. The project will initially focus on the languages of Afghanistan (Persian, Dari and Pashto) and Armenia (Western and Eastern Armenian).
- Inp's contribution to a Colloquium on the Art and Heritage of Afghanistan organized by the Inalco Foundation and the Musée Guimet on November 18 and 19, 2022.
- The creation of the chair "Arts and Heritage of Afghanistan" in order to preserve and continue to radiate a culture, history and knowledge never sufficiently documented and now in danger.
We are delighted with this partnership with the institution that embodies France's unique expertise and international legitimacy in the field of heritage preservation and restoration.
