Inalco commits to energy efficiency
Institute
Inalco presents its energy-saving plan and invites you to adopt the right gestures. The campaign is aimed at students, teachers, administrative staff and visitors to Inalco sites. This plan is part of a more global policy of environmental responsibility that Inalco intends to pursue, on its own scale, in order to reduce its ecological footprint.
Its approach is in line with the 2018 Elan law and then the Plan climat-biodiversité et transition écologique de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche drawn up by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, at the request of the Prime Minister. The objective set was to reduce national consumption by 10% by 2024, which we have already fully achieved, and then to reduce it by 40% by 2030. Efforts are to be continued in stages to achieve a 60% reduction by 2050.
To this end, actions will be implemented throughout the 2023 academic year, and a communication campaign will be rolled out across our two sites.
