On November 16 and 17, the service d'information, d'orientation et d'insertion professionnelle (SIO-IP) and the pôle de la vie étudiante are organizing the Forum de l'engagement : projet d'avenir. This event will enable you to meet associations working in the fields of cultural mediation and/or translation, for which the different profiles of Inalco students are very interesting.
Thus, through the missions proposed by these associations, you will have the opportunity to get involved in professional life, enrich yourself in an associative context and better build your professional project.

Focus on participating associations
The Afev is a national association recognized as being in the public interest since 1991. Every year, it mobilizes thousands of students to support young people in difficulty at school and create links in working-class neighborhoods.
Article 1 works for a society in which guidance, academic success and professional integration do not depend on social, economic and cultural origins; for a society in which success depends on social ties and civic commitment.
Dom'Asile is an association dedicated to the domiciliation and access to social rights of exiled people without stable accommodation and excluded from public schemes.
EU Careers Inalco Each year the European Personnel Selection Office, responsible for personnel selection for all European institutions, elects student ambassadors to promote careers within the European institutions. Axelle Amirault is Inalco's student ambassador for the year 2021-2022.
France Terre D'asile supports and defends asylum seekers and also specializes in the management of accommodation centers for asylum seekers. It receives, accompanies and protects unaccompanied foreign minors.
Khata Karpo helps with integration, transmission and sharing of Tibetan culture, activities and a place for exchanges for the Tibetan community.
La Mission Locale de Paris is an organization in charge of welcoming, informing, guiding and supporting young people to build a determined professional project. It is aimed at all young people aged 16 to 25 who have difficulty accessing employment, training or independence.
Pari(s) à 2 brings together a volunteer and an asylum seeker. The pair gets to know each other over a cycle lasting an average of 3 months, with an outing every 15 days. The aim of the project is to create social links, deconstruct mutual prejudices, encourage the practice of French, gain a better understanding of French culture and lifestyles, and discover Paris and the surrounding area.
Pour une planète sans frontière's mission is to help migrants and asylum seekers gain access to rights and healthcare. It is looking for translators and interpreters in European, Central European, African, East Asian and Southeast Asian languages.
