Cordées de la réussite 2022: Inalco to welcome 300 students in March

Welcome days for the "Languages and cultures of the world" 2022 cordées de la réussite

Last October, Inalco welcomed 300 middle and high school students from the 15 partner establishments of the "Languages and cultures of the world" cordées to the Maison de la Recherche. This first highlight of the year inaugurated the 2021-2022 program. On this occasion, the students had the opportunity to discover the school and its history, its training courses and their job opportunities, and to take part in activities giving them a foretaste of the workshops which began in November and will run until June.

The second highlight of the year, the welcome days on March 9 and 16, 2022 will this time enable students to discover the Pôle des langues et civilisations (PLC) and the BULAC and continue their opening up to the world's languages and cultures through visits and workshops organized at Inalco and the Musée du Quai Branly. They will have the opportunity to learn about some of the languages we teach (Bambara, Bulgarian, Hindi, Hungarian, Japanese, Tahitian, etc.) and to discover the collections of the Musée du Quai Branly in a privileged and fun way, as well as to exchange ideas with our students and get an insight into everyday student life at Inalco.

Typical program (variable according to days and establishments)
9am - 12:30pm Guided tour and activities at the Musée du Quai Branly
12:30pm - 2:30pm Transfer to the PLC and lunch at the Halle aux farines university restaurant
2:30pm - 3:45pm Introductory workshop in a language taught at Inalco
3:45pm - 5pm Visiting game at the PLC and time for exchanges with Inalco students
