Awards ceremony for the 2021 edition of the Multilingual Short Story Competition
Supported by the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) through its "Langues en dialogues" initiative and carried by the Licence + program, this second edition invited French-speaking students from around the world to explore the theme of endangered languages by submitting an original, multilingual short story. Sponsored by novelist Carole Martinez and Jean-Luc Raharimanana, novelist, essayist and poet, this year's competition introduced the special PERL "digital work" prize.

Monday March 14 at the auditorium of the Pôle des langues et civilisations de l'Inalco (Paris 13ème) at 6:30pm and live on the Inalco YouTube channel.
Participation in face-to-face or distance learning upon registration.
Entry upon registration in compliance with current sanitary rules.
The winning students will be honored during the evening. The competition sponsors and actress Cécile Dominjon will read extracts from their short stories. These polyphonic readings will be accompanied by a round-table discussion moderated by Marielle Anselmo (Inalco), who will bring the young authors into dialogue with jury members Carole Martinez and Jean-Luc Raharimanana (writers), Natalia Kübler (PERL ASPC), Florian Targa (Inalco) and Noé Nunez Perez (Editions Tangentielles). The exchanges will be complemented by a participatory multilingual writing experience with the audience.
This event will also be an opportunity to announce the theme of the 2022 edition of the competition!!
A multilingual writing workshop will be offered to the public before the start of the evening, from 4:30pm to 6pm in room 5.22.
