Ateliers " Langues et Cultures du Monde " : recruitment of animators
Campus life
As a partner of secondary schools in the Île-de-France, Aquitaine and Eure-et-Loire regions, Inalco is involved in a number of schools as part of the Cordées de la réussite program. This project aims to encourage secondary school students - particularly those from priority education networks or rural areas - to pursue their studies by introducing them to higher education and broadening their horizons.
These students follow a variety of workshops throughout the year: discovering world languages, journalistic-linguistic investigations, creative writing and plurilingual theater. They also take part in Inalco assembly days, giving them an opportunity to discover the establishment, visit a museum, or reflect on their career plans.
We're looking for people with training in the languages and cultures taught at Inalco to run these workshops. People with a sensitivity to non-formal pedagogy, eager to get involved in raising awareness of plurilingualism and transmitting knowledge, and to join a small team of facilitators. With an open-minded attitude and an ability to listen to students, the aim is to run workshops rather than teach, with the emphasis on encounters, questioning and speaking.
Training in linguistic and intercultural animation will be provided in September for all those wishing to get involved in the program. Materials and aids will be provided, and pedagogical follow-up will be ensured throughout the year.
Do you recognize yourself in this project? Do you think you have the potential or the profile and want to get involved with us?
Send us your CV and a short cover letter. We want to build our teams for next year as soon as possible, so don't wait!
