Internships - Intercultural Communication and Training
Theoretical and practical application in the workplace: end-of-study internships
In their bachelor's and master's degrees, students in the Intercultural Communication and Training program have the opportunity to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge taught in class during professional internships.

M1 and M2 internships - Languages and Societies
M1 and M2 internships are compulsory.
In order to validate the Master's degree, it is imperative that students complete:
- A 3- to 6-month internship in M1, at the end of which students must write a 25- to 30-page report (excluding appendices).
- A minimum 6-month internship in M2, at the end of which, students must write a professional thesis of around 80 pages (excluding appendices). The professional thesis consists of the internship report and a case study
The diploma is only validated following the end-of-study defenses.
Procedures:
For any internship completed, it is imperative to follow all the steps in the procedure, failing which the internship cannot be validated (the detailed procedure is also shown on this link : Conventions de stage | Inalco):
Complete and e-mail the "saisie_info" form for validation of the internship to the department management.Complete, sign and send the internship agreement along with the other mandatory documents to M. Damien BRESSON (damien.bresson@inalco.fr)Once the documents have been validated, send them toconventions.stages@inalco.frAuthorization to start the internship
It is strictly forbidden to start an internship before obtaining the finalized agreement from the internship office.All assessment procedures and documents to be provided during and after the internship are indicated in the "useful information" document.

Internships and research dissertation Magistère Communication Interculturelle, 1st and 2nd years
The Magistère is suspended until further notice.
Magistère internships 1 and 2 compulsory.
Please note: double degree students (Master and Magistère will only have one internship to complete instead of two).
In order to validate the CFI Magisterium, it is imperative that students complete:
- An internship of 3 to 6 months in the first year, at the end of which they must write a report of around 50 to 60 pages (excluding appendices).
- An internship of 4 to 6 months minimum in the second year, at the end of which they must write a research dissertation of around 70 pages (excluding appendices).
The diploma is not validated until the end-of-study defense.
Procedures:
For any internship completed, it is imperative to follow all procedural steps, failing which the internship cannot be validated:
- Complete and e-mail the "saisie_info" form for internship validation,
- Complete, sign and submit the internship agreement in three original copies to the internship office (2.01)
- Authorization to start internship
