The CFI program offers students enrolled in one of the languages taught at Inalco two specialized courses in multilingual and multicultural organizational communication at international, national and local levels.

CFI (Intercultural Communication and Training) programs and courses

By "organizational communication" we mean the communication (internal or external, media or non-media, ...) of collective actors such as companies, NGOs, associations, territorial or local authorities, universities, museums, etc. This is a very important economic and professional sector in contemporary society, which is profoundly globalized and is the place for encounters and exchanges between social actors belonging to different cultures. The main professions in this sector include, for example, communications manager and director, public relations manager, event communications manager, press relations manager, external communications manager, multimedia content designer and editor, media planner, web project manager, community manager and communications analyst.

Students enrolled in an "oriental" language (i.e. taught at Inalco) and interested in the professional communications sector, can apply for the following two courses:

Presentation of the EMICC European Master

EMICC is a teaching and research network of nine European universities specializing in intercultural communication. EUROCAMPUS is a semester-long annual intensive program offered by professors from the network's universities. The program is interdisciplinary, offering knowledge and skills to participants preparing for careers in diverse environments.

The teaching team includes:

  1. Inalco teacher-researchers in information and communication sciences, cultural mediation, inguistics and the didactics of languages and cultures.
  2. complementary lecturers who are either researchers from other public higher education establishments or professionals working in the fields of organizational communication, cultural and intercultural mediation, digital communication, information monitoring, marketing, economic and cultural intelligence and project management.
