Licence LLCER Intercultural and international communication course

La Licence Com2i (Intercultural and International Communication)

The Licence LLCER Com2i pathway is accessible by application. Students must hold a validated L1 LLCER in an oriental language (semester 1 and semester 2) and justify a B2 level in English.

Students interested in the Licence LLCER parcours Com2i will find in the brochure opposite a presentation of the course, the teaching program, the list of the teaching team, the prerequisites, the detailed recruitment procedure and the career opportunities (non-contractual brochure).

L3 internships and dissertations

In the Bachelor's degree, students in the Intercultural and International Communication stream have the opportunity to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge taught in class during a professional internship.

In order to validate the Licence LLCER Com2i course, it is imperative that students complete:

• An internship of at least 145 hours (part-time during term time or full-time outside term time)
• OR a research mini-memoir of around 25 pages

The choice of internship or mini-memoir is made when enrolling in the course at the beginning of the academic year.

As internship reports must be handed in by the end of the second semester of the L3 year at the latest, students wishing to do an internship are strongly advised to do so during the summer between the L2 and L3 years.

Procedures

For any internship carried out, it is imperative to follow the various stages of the procedure, failing which the internship cannot be validated (the detailed procedure is also indicated on the page Conventions de stage) :

1. Complete and e-mail the "saisie_info" form for validation of the internship/thesis subject by Ms. Mylène HARDY (mylene.hardy@inalco.fr)
2. Complete, sign and send the internship agreement along with the other mandatory documents to Mr. Damien BRESSON (damien.bresson@inalco.fr)
3. Once the documents have been validated, send them to conventions.stages@inalco.fr
4. Authorization to start the internship

It is strictly forbidden to start an internship before obtaining the finalized agreement from the internship office.
