As part of the welcome days' events taking place from 14 to 18 September 2026, come along to the information sessions and meet representatives from the university’s departments at the freshers’ week stands. These sessions offer you the chance to discover your new study environment, familiarise yourself with how the university works and find the information you need to make a success of your year.
Welcome to Inalco!
The start-of-term days are specifically dedicated to welcoming and providing information to first-year students on the Introductory Year, Licence 1, Licence plus and Tempo programmes, for whom these days are compulsory. However, they are also important for L2 and L3 students starting a new programme or pathway, as well as for new students enrolled on Master’s programmes and university-specific qualifications. We invite you to consult the programme of meetings, workshops and courses organised according to your year of study

The role of doctors, nurses and psychologists is to listen to you and answer all your questions, to provide you with clear information on health, hygiene, diet and contraception, and to advise you on how to manage your daily routine to avoid excessive tiredness or periods of stress in the run-up to exams.
There are several places to eat near the buildings on Rue des Grands Moulins. Run by the CROUS de Paris, this service gives you access to a balanced diet at a lower cost.
