The Training and Student Life Council
The mission of the Conseil des formations et de la vie étudiante (CFVE) is to develop, coordinate and manage the training programs offered at Inalco (national bachelor's and master's degrees and institutional diplomas). The CFVE is responsible for developing, coordinating and managing Inalco's training programs (national bachelor's and master's degrees and institutional diplomas).
Composition
The Training and Student Life Council is made up of the following members:
▪ the vice-president delegated to student success and student life
▪ the deputy vice-president delegated to training courses
▪ the director of bachelor's degrees;
▪ the director of master's degrees (chairman of the Master's Degree Training Commission) ;
▪ the chairman of the Commission des enseignements transversaux;
▪ the chairman of the Commission Contribution vie étudiante et de campus (CoCVEC);
▪ the directors of departments, streams, and the plurilingual section ;
▪ the head of French as a foreign language teaching;
▪ the head of the training coordination service (SEFOR)
▪ the director of the Scolarité;
▪ the head of the student success and life service (REVE)
▪ 3 student representatives, full and alternate, elected to the CA;
▪ 3 student representatives, full and alternate, elected;
▪ the director of IT systems or his representative.
▪ The student vice-president of the Board
The following are invited (in an advisory capacity):
- the director of continuing education or his representative;
- the director of the information, orientation and professional integration service (SIO-IP);
- the president and vice-presidents of Inalco;
- 1 teacher representative elected to the Board.
Governance and operation
The board is chaired by the vice-president in charge of training and student life, elected by the board of directors on the proposal of the institute's president from among the institute's teacher-researchers. He is assisted by the board's executive committee, made up of the director of bachelor's degrees, the director of master's degrees, and the heads of the schooling and student life commission and the cross-disciplinary teaching commission.
Depending on the agenda, the board's vice-president may request the participation of any person whose presence is desirable.
