Missions
The DSIRN's mission is to implement the information system and information and communication technology policy defined by the Presidency and the Board of Directors in the fields of teaching, research and management, and in general, to take charge of everything concerning computerized or digital information processing. The portfolio of digital projects defined as part of the establishment's digital strategy is steered within COSSIN (Comité Opérationnel Stratégique du Système d'Information Numérique).

The DSIRN comprises a directorate, a secretariat, three units for a total of 33 employees.

Infrastructure and IT Support Unit
The Infrastructures and IT Assistance Unit guarantees the operation and upgrades of hardware infrastructures and ensures the implementation of the IT security policy.
It manages the servers and the access, backup and storage architecture and operates the Inalco IT network.
It provides assistance to users on their workstations and manages the local IT architecture. It deploys workstations, microcomputers and printers, responds to incidents and advises users.

IS Applications and Development Unit
The Applications et Développements SI (ADSI) unit co-pilots and deploys within the IS the structuring business software included in the project portfolio defined within COSSIN.
It guarantees the smooth operation, evolution and interaction of IT applications: tuition, finance, HR, communication, research, training....
She is the guarantor of the business logic layer and its evolutions.
As part of the maintenance in operational condition of Inalco's digital services, she provides support to contributors.

ICTE and digital uses unit
The Technologies de l'Information et de la Communication pour l'Enseignement et usages numériques (TICE) unit provides technical assistance and monitoring for Inalco's classrooms (auditoriums, amphitheaters, language laboratories and multimedia or computer rooms). It ensures that digital tools (videoconferencing, video projectors, video servers, multicasting, recording) operate smoothly and are modernized.
It manages audiovisual productions for training, research or communication purposes, and manages and monitors the sound and video studios.

The digital teaching engineers unit supports and assists teachers wishing to engage in online or innovative learning schemes.
It provides assistance with digital tools and operates the monitoring and functional administration of online learning platforms dedicated to teaching.
It implements change management towards users, plans a training offer and carries out a watch around pedagogical engineering.

The Inalco media library offers Inalco users a documentary collection (fiction and documentary films) for free consultation. Its online catalog can be accessed via its documentary portal: https://inalco.bibenligne.fr
The media library's documentalists provide assistance in searching for still and moving images, as well as advice on the use of audiovisual resources in compliance with legal rules (intellectual property and copyright).
