The Human Resources Department implements Inalco's job, career and compensation management policy in line with the objectives set out in the five-year contract. Its role is to advise and inform both management and staff.

Organization

Composed of 3 poles, the Human Resources Department manages all the Institute's staff.The two poles of individual and integrated personnel management - BIATS on the one hand and teaching staff on the other - are responsible for preparing and monitoring individual or collective management acts relating to the various types of personnel.

Missions

As part of the Steering Support division, the department is responsible for:

  • paying non-tenured staff and developing processes for monitoring and controlling payroll,
  • training staff,
  • reliabilizing data under Harpège (individual retirement account) and managing human resources information systems.

Inalco staff

  • 120 permanent and non-permanent administrative and technical staff
  • 310 permanent and non-permanent teaching and research staff
  • 600 part-time teaching staff
