Continuing Education offers a hybrid system in Arabic, Chinese and Czech called SPOC, Small Private Online Course, which combines individual use of the MOOC with regular remote monitoring in a small group with a trainer for the duration of the course.

Inalco's first 3 MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), which are accessible online and free of charge, have been extremely popular. The Institute is a world pioneer in offering beginner-level courses in modern oriental languages (currently Arabic, Chinese and Czech).

These MOOCs are hosted on the FUN platform and open periodically.
Access is free and does not depend on Continuing Education.
Opening dates also do not depend on Continuing Education.

For companies wishing to train a group of employees:From these MOOCs, Continuing Education offers a hybrid system called SPOC, Small Private Online Course, which combines individual use of the MOOC with regular distance follow-up in a small group with an instructor for the duration of the course opening (around 7-10 weeks). The complete training corresponds to around 40-50 hours of learning, including 10 to 15 hours with the trainer in a remote group session.
These SPOCs are suitable for companies wishing to train their teams in a small group, in a short time, remotely and with individualized follow-up.
