Conference summary
The evening will evoke the personality of Arvo Valton, Estonian writer and activist for Finno-Ugric literatures, who passed away in 2024.
It will feature a short video, an interview with Valton on the occasion of the Estonian state's award of prizes for all his work. Antoine Chalvin will present an overview of his literary work, Jules Bouton will give a talk on his short stories and the Soviet city, and Éva Toulouze will present her Finnish-Ugric activities.
The organizers will take questions from the audience.
