In a deserted Tibetan province, a snow leopard breaks into a pen at night and kills nine sheep. Drunk with blood, he falls asleep in the pen, only to find himself a prisoner in the morning. A TV crew arrives on the scene as the angry shepherd vows to kill the animal if the state refuses to pay him compensation. His brother, a young llama who seems to communicate subliminally with the animal, wants to save him at all costs, as do two policemen who try to reason with the shepherd

Projection followed by a discussion with Françoise Robin, university professor at Inalco and specialist in Tibetan language, cinema and literature.
