Indo-Pacific
Ifrae invites you to its latest session of Rencontres de l'Ifrae.
First formulated in 2007 to highlight the convergence of Indian and Japanese interests in maritime security, the notion of the Indo-Pacific has established itself on the international agenda in just a short decade. It structures the political and strategic discourse of most of the states interacting in this zone and, beyond that, is the subject of competing definitions, reinventions and contestations. It acts as a geopolitical revealer: each actor seems to project his conception of the world through it.
