Half-day seminar on the Afghan diaspora and transnationalism

The aim of this half-day event is to critically examine the complexities and challenges involved in bringing about sustainable socio-cultural and political transformation in Afghanistan. The focus will be on the role of the Afghan diaspora, resistance within rural communities and the impact of international support.

The event aims to deepen understanding of the interactions between traditional values and modern democratic principles, while exploring strategies for promoting inclusive political systems and encouraging democratic participation in fragile and conflict-ridden contexts.
