Andrei Stadnikov: Documentary theater as an encounter with reality
Meeting organized by Inalco's Department of Russian Studies, with scientific support from the Europes-Eurasia Research Center (CREE, EA 4513).
Russian director and playwright in exile in France, Andrei Stadnikov, will talk about his work as a playwright on documentary data, as well as the history of documentary dramaturgy in and outside Russia. It will be about how theater can deal with cultural and historical memory and stage lived realities.
Following this presentation will be a dramaturgical workshop for Inalco students, whose sessions will run from January to March 2025 and culminate in the creation of a documentary performance.
