Missions of the Budget and Public Procurement Department
The Budget and Public Procurement Department prepares, with the authorizing officer, the budget and its modifications (DBM) through management dialogue with the various departments. It oversees financial execution in conjunction with the various departments, and handles the authorizing officer's accounting by committing, preparing and settling payments and issuing revenue bonds. It also monitors agreements and draws up financial statements in coordination with the research teams and the International Relations Division.
The Purchasing/Public Contracts Division
The Purchasing/Public Contracts Division defines purchasing policy and handles the awarding of public contracts, from the drafting of tender documents to the awarding of contracts. It ensures that its actions are regular and proposes and organizes actions to reduce costs.
