About the SEE Festival in Paris

The SEE Festival in Paris is an international film festival created in 2011 bringing together 15 Southeast European countries. In addition to these 15 countries, all other MEDIA member countries are included in the festival selection as producers or co-producers of "SEE films".

The aim of the SEE festival is to present the best of current film production from South-East Europe in order to increase awareness of it and bring it closer to the cultural sphere of the rest of Europe. As a platform for the international promotion of young, creative and original film professionals, it offers them the opportunity to expand their audience and market.

The festival is an attempt to overcome the differences and scars of the past by proposing a new European perspective on cultural integration through discovery and interaction between the cinema, ideas, culture and citizens of South-East Europe and European and global audiences.

With the sponsorship of the French Ministry of Culture.
