Book presentation
War, far from annihilating love and feelings, forces those who live through it to feel each moment more intensely, as a new rule governs their daily lives: tomorrow is not a guarantee. Ukrainian artist Maryna Kumeda's aim is to tell the story of love in all its facets, during the extraordinary period of war. How does this love, this bond, exist and manifest itself? Is it always present? How do we cope with its absence? Setting out to meet those who are fighting and whose lives have been turned upside down, she offers us strong, raw moments, filled with humanity in a war that has none.
