Presentation
The Bambara language formed from eastern Mandinka dialects, following the emergence of the precolonial Segu kingdom (18th-19th centuries) and, to a lesser extent, the Kaarta kingdom. The name of the ethnic group is bá mà na or bá mà nan, and the name of the language is bá manankan. The term Bambara is used in French and neighbouring languages (Fula, Soninke, Maninka; obviously, the French form was borrowed from the Soninke and Fula languages). In English, German and Russian, both forms – Bamana and Bambara – are used. The format of this book is a compromise between a textbook and a grammar reference book. The course is divided into 38 lessons, each with augmented reality features. Listen to all Bambara sentences pronounced by a native speaker.
The book includes over 1,500 audio files, revolutionizing language learning methods.
