Thanks to support from the Foundation, Inalco has strengthened its Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) offering by adding Mooré to the courses on offer. Belonging to the Niger-Congolese language family and more specifically to the Gur language group, this language is spoken by the Mossis, the majority ethnic group in Burkina Faso. This language is present in the central regions of Burkina Faso, but also in parts of Mali and Ghana, where Mossi communities can be found.

Launched in 2017, MOOCs are free courses available online free of charge over a limited period ranging from six to seven weeks. This offering is fully in line with innovation, the renewal of teaching practices, and didactic reflection in higher education.

L'Inalco has set up the Diplôme Universitaire Passerelle, which aims for a two-year period to accommodate exiled students. As part of the Urgence Afghanistan campaign, the Foundation awarded scholarships enabling three Afghan students to join the DU Passerelle.

I am happy to share with you my experience of being in France during this period. I started the second semester of DU Passerelle from January 2022 to improve my level of the French language. In addition, I was able to enroll in the Hospitalité, Médiations, Migrations university diploma at Inalco University for the 2022-2023 academic year and successfully complete it. In addition, from July 2022 to the end of April 2023, I did civic service with the association "Pour une planète sans frontière" and also, from February to the end of April 2023, I did an internship in the form of a DU H2M at the Cimade association as an intercultural mediator. For the 2023-2024 academic year, I've applied for a master's degree at Inalco University in International Relations, and I'm waiting for the result.
