A year of commitment to projects in 2025

The past year has once again demonstrated how vital the transmission of knowledge is in our society, despite the political, historical and environmental challenges we face.

In 2025, the Inalco Foundation has dedicated itself to consolidating and deepening its projects in the service of teaching, research and intercultural dialogue, and has initiated the development of new programs and partnerships in favor of the study of languages and cultures, and the protection of the people who transmit them.

An ambitious 2026

The Inalco Foundation is ready, in 2026, to continue and amplify its action in the service of Inalco. Thanks to your support, it will continue to pursue its priorities:

• Supporting the teaching of languages and civilizations, by modernizing pedagogical tools and promoting international student mobility through excellence scholarships ;
• Accompany research into languages, particularly rare and endangered languages, by supporting chairs, creating research prizes, notably in partnership with the CNRS, and awarding field immersion grants
• Protect cultures and those who transmit them, by developing host programs for endangered researchers and actions to support the protection and dissemination of languages

The Inalco Foundation thanks you for your unfailing support during 2025, as well as for the year to come. We wish you a year rich in discovery and full of success. Together, let us continue to build a world open to dialogue and transmission between languages and civilizations, in benevolence and sharing.
