Des liens de la mémoire
Ten years after Taïwan, Île de mémoire (Tigre de papier, 2011), which presented the diversity and richness of Taiwanese society's memory dynamics, we propose an exploration of the links forged by these multiple forms of return to the past. Beyond what separates and distinguishes, in a process of community identification, we wish to question what makes it possible to create relationships. The first part of this book first explores memory in terms of the breadth and depth of the link it leads us to weave, in Pierre Nora's sense of the "eternal present". This link is then analyzed through a range of temporalities marked by the vitality of generational diffluences. Finally, it is to nostalgia that our work turns, that is, to the links formed with places, spaces and times and which, through recollection or creative investment, assuage the anxieties born of the approach of old age or the difficult separation from the close and familiar.
