Creation of a "Migrations & Climat" collective fresco

The Migrations & Climate exhibition explores the dynamics of both human and living migrations that are linked to climate disruption. More than 200 documentary photographs, works of art (some of which have never been shown before), testimonials, videos, computer graphics and installations are gathered around this exhibition, the themes of which are closely linked to Inalco's teaching. By bringing together artistic, scientific and citizen perspectives, Migrations & Climat sheds light on a major social debate, inviting us to place human beings and the living at the heart of climatic, cultural and social concerns, and to collectively imagine responses to the upheavals underway. Inalco students are also invited to take up these themes and express their responses or questioning in the face of these major upheavals through artistic creation.
Workshop schedule
The fresco project is divided into six 2-hour workshop sessions from November 2025 to May 2026.
Three sessions will be dedicated to discovering the Migrations & Climat exhibition and designing a 1:3 scale model of the final drawing.
The other three sessions, meanwhile, will be dedicated to creating the 1:1 scale painting of the fresco. Each of these design and creation sessions will take place at the Palais de La Porte Dorée, le Musée national de l'histoire de l'immigration with artist Alix Le Boucher.

Alix Le Boucher
Drawing artist, Alix Le Boucher develops a multidisciplinary practice at the crossroads between art and design, where drawing allows her to wander and storytell. Being a flexible and spontaneous tool, drawing allows him to cross the fields of illustration, comics, fresco, motif, textile or even décor.
