Teaching
The candidate for the PU position will be expected to teach courses at all undergraduate and graduate levels, dedicated both to Albanian literature, oral and written, from their origins, and to relevant civilizational aspects of the Albanian territory and people. He/she will be at ease in so-called "Albanological" fields, with priority given to subjects of anthropology and cultural history, in addition to those directly related to language and literature.
In addition, the candidate will have demonstrated skills in both the theoretical and practical aspects of translation, particularly literary and technical Albanian-French translation and vice versa. Teaching the study of texts from a variety of registers and usages will also be part of the skills required for this position.
The candidate for the PU position will be called upon on an ad hoc basis to represent the Albanian field in seminars and cross-disciplinary teaching at bachelor's and master's level in the Europe department.
His or her mission will be to supervise research at master's and doctoral level, as well as to work towards the national and international influence of Albanian studies within Inalco. In addition to teaching and supervising students, the candidate for the PU position will have pedagogical responsibility for Albanian studies and will ensure the smooth running of the LLCER Albanian bachelor's and LLCER Albanian master's courses.
The candidate will also be expected to contribute to the development of pedagogical tools, particularly digital ones, as part of the development of the establishment's hybrid or distance teaching offer. Competence in ICTE and reflection on digital pedagogy is desirable.
He or she may, depending on his or her specialist discipline, provide part of his or her service in cross-disciplinary teaching within his or her department or across the establishment at bachelor's and master's levels.
