Meeting with Hungarian authors
For the past thirty years, the Maison des Écrivains Étrangers et des Traducteurs (MEET) in Saint-Nazaire has organized an annual international literary "meeting" and awarded three literary prizes: the Prix Laure-Bataillon for the best work of fiction translated into French during the year, the Prix Laure-Bataillon classique and the Prix de la Jeune Littérature latino-américaine. Each year, she publishes the international literary journal Meet and several bilingual books.
The guest of honor at this major festival in 2025 will be Hungary and Quebec. To mark this event, Inalco's Hungarian Section is organizing a literary encounter with Hungarian writers György Dragomán, István Kemény and Benedek Totth, accompanied by their interpreter Nathalia Zaremba.
The encounter will be moderated by Ulysse Manhes.
