Mathias Corvin (Hunyadi) is one of the best-known kings in Hungarian history. Many interesting facts are linked to his name, such as the circumstances of his coronation, his reforms, his conquests, his patronage and his cultural legacy. After his death, his collection of the Bibliotheca Corviniana has remained for posterity with 216 codices today.
