Annual Malagasy dictation contest

Inalco is currently the only establishment outside Madagascar where the Malagasy language and culture are taught, and has been since 1895. As part of its efforts to promote the language, the Institute's Malagasy section has been organizing an annual dictation competition at two levels: beginners and advanced, in conjunction with the Kolo association, since 2003.

This event seeks to stimulate the practice of the Malagasy language, enhance the value of Madagascar's cultural heritage and create a convivial and intellectual moment of encounter for all participants.

Program

  • 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm: Welcome and public entrance
  • 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Dictation session
  • 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm: Convivial moment over a friendly drink
