Inalco launches Jean Monnet module "EU-LACE"

Enhancing Language and Area Studies with a EU Perspectives
This project, coordinated by the International Office and the International Relations Studies department, will fund two semester-long courses, one within the International Relations curriculum of the LLCER Bachelor's degree and the other within the International Relations Master's degree, as well as an annual Summer School, which will expand the catalogue of courses devoted to European Union policies. To be held at Inalco in Paris, this Summer School will welcome both Inalco students and participants from partner universities across Europe and beyond.
By combining studies in language, regional areas and international relations, including a detailed analysis of the institutions, internal policies, and external actions of the European Union, students, thanks to this Jean Monnet grant, will benefit from dual expertise, enabling them to combine regional knowledge with an understanding of the European framework. Over three years, more than 800 Bachelor's and Master's students from the International Relations Studies Department are expected to benefit from this project.
