Call for papers - Multilingual workshop on artificial intelligence in language teaching
This event, aimed at teachers, researchers and students of foreign languages and language didactics, will be an opportunity to discuss the place of AI in language teaching.
As part of the "Culture, multilingualism and well-being" axis steered by Inalco within the EUniWell alliance, the establishment will host a multilingual workshop on artificial intelligence in language teaching on March 19 and 20.
Inalco's unique expertise, with over 100 languages and cultures taught and numerous projects dedicated to language teaching, offers a unique framework for sharing and questioning the growing uses of AI in this field.
Through multilingual plenary sessions and interactive workshops, participants will discover initiatives carried out within EUniWell alliance partners, including Inalco, and beyond, and will be able to identify new opportunities for collaboration.
Objectives:

Enable peer-to-peer exchanges and sharing of practices concerning AI and language teaching;

Value ongoing initiatives within EUniWell member universities and external partners that use AI in language teaching ;

To list the issues involved and, where appropriate, technological solutions related to the use of AI for language teaching;

To identify opportunities for collaboration and resource sharing;

To produce a document to be shared with EUniWell members: Interactive atlas of multilingual initiatives or case studies.
We are looking for:

Teacher-researchers or administrative staff interested in contributing to the event, through the presentation of a project or research results related to the theme. This presentation can be made in English or French.

Teachers or students wishing to share their experience of using AI in language teaching and learning. With a view to sharing practice, this contribution would preferably be in English - if this is a problem, please let us know.
