Teaching

The candidate recruited, who is expected to have an excellent command of Bulgarian, will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in oral practice, written practice and theme, Bulgarian literature and South Slavic literature. In the Master's program, he or she will be in charge of two seminars: Texts and literary discourse in Bulgarian, Expression and interaction in Bulgarian.

In addition, he or she may occasionally intervene in Inalco's areal or disciplinary transversal courses and seminars.

He or she will participate in the Bulgarian section's pedagogical and administrative responsibilities.

The candidate will also be expected to contribute to the development of pedagogical tools, possibly digital. Competence in ICTE is desirable.
He or she may, depending on his or her specialist discipline, provide part of his or her service in cross-disciplinary teaching in the department (literature, linguistics, humanities) or in cross-disciplinary teaching at the bachelor's and master's levels of INALCO.
He or she is likely to provide teaching in English.

Research

The candidate will consider the convergence between his/her work and Inalco's intellectual and scientific identity, as embodied in the collective projects carried out by the establishment and its research units. Depending on his or her specialties, the teacher-researcher recruited will be able to join the research unit of his or her choice from among Inalco's own teams and UMRs under the (co)supervision of Inalco, in particular:

Within CREE, the candidate, a specialist in Bulgarian literature with a focus on the South Slavic area, will join the laboratory's axis 2: "Production and diffusion of cultural goods". He/she will participate in the reflection of the members of this axis on the literary canon, the transnational circulation of texts, and the constitution of a literary heritage. He or she will take part in the Pétales doctoral seminar (Penser et traduire les littératures).
