Preparing for the JLPT
The Japanese Language Proficiency Test or JLPT is an aptitude test in Japanese.
The preparation courses are aimed at anyone wishing to prepare for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). This test is available at five levels.
The information on the course schedule below (course dates and times) may be subject to change.
JLPT preparation courses for levels N1, N2, N3
Duration: 20h of training organized into 7 sessions (6 sessions of 3h and one session of 2h)
Fee: €440 for 20h of training
Location : Inalco - 65 rue des Grands Moulins - 75013 Paris
RER C, M14 stop Bibliothèque F. Mitterrand; Tramway T3A stop Avenue de France (except N1 remote on Zoom).
JLPT preparation courses for levels N4, N5
Duration: 15h of training organized into 7 sessions (6 sessions of 2h and one session of 3h).
Fee : €330 for 15h of training
Location : Inalco - 65 rue des Grands Moulins - 75013 Paris
RER C, M14 arrêt Bibliothèque F. Mitterrand; Tramway T3A stop Avenue de France (except N5 at distance on Zoom).
All our trainers are graduates in the language they teach and have solid experience of teaching Oriental languages in a professional context.
Lexical and grammatical fine-tuning will be done regularly to fill in any gaps you may have. At the end of the course, you should be perfectly familiar with the JLPT test environment and equipped with the linguistic means to pass the JLPT level you are aiming for.
Please note: registration for the JLPT and the registration fee are independent of the preparation course.

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) has been organized by the Japan Foundation in cooperation with Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) since 1984. It assesses and certifies the language skills of non-native speakers of Japanese.

Courses will take place from late September to mid-November 2025.
The projected schedule is as follows:
Levels 1, 2 and 3
= 20 hours / 7 sessions including dont : 6 sessions of 3 hours + 1 session of 2 hours
= from 9:30 to 12:30 except for the last session, scheduled from 09:30 to 11:30 *
- Saturday Sept. 27 from 9:30 to 12:30
- Saturday Oct. 4 from 9:30 to 12:30
- Saturday Oct. 11 from 9:30 to 12:30
- Saturday Oct. 18 from 9:30 to 12:30
- Saturday Oct. 25 from 9:30 to 12:30
- Saturday Nov. 8 from 9:30 to 12:30
- Saturday Nov. 15 from 9:30 to 11:30
Levels 4 and 5
= 15 hours / 7 sessions including : 6 sessions of 2 hours + 1 session of 3 hours
= from 13:30 à 15:30 except for the last session scheduled from 13:30 to 16:30 *
- Saturday Sept. 27 from 13:30 à 15:30
- Saturday Oct. 4 from 13:30 à 15:30
- Saturday Oct. 11 from 13:30 à 15:30
- Saturday Oct. 18 from 13:30 à 15:30
- Saturday Oct. 25 from 13:30 à 15:30
- Saturday Nov. 8 from 13:30 à 15:30
- Saturday Nov. 15 from 13:30 à 16:30
* training durations may be split differently between sessions, in keeping with widest time slot planned.
