Preparation for the agrégation in Arabic
The preparation module for the agrégation in Arabic includes 140 hours of preparation for the competitive exams; it is also open to all Arabists and teachers wishing to develop their skills and knowledge throughout their professional life.
Inalco, Sorbonne Université, Lyon 2 and Aix-Marseille Université are jointly organizing a preparation module for the agrégation d'arabe competitive examination. It can be taken even if you don't plan to sit the exam within the year. This inter-university course of excellence aims to prepare candidates for the competitive exams (methodology, Arabic linguistics [syllabus and extra syllabus], modern and classical literature syllabus, modern and classical civilization syllabus, theme and version translation techniques, oral preparation), but also aims to offer enriching training to any Arabist and teacher wishing to develop their skills and knowledge throughout their professional life.
This preparation is hybrid (synchronous courses on Zoom + dedicated Moodle platform, with some courses provided face-to-face at the various training centers). The inter-university training covers the 5 questions on the program. The version and theme methodology courses are given face-to-face at each partner university. Registrations for the preparation course must be made at one of the 4 partner universities: Inalco, SU, Lyon 2 or AMU.
