By-elections to the student life and training council (CFVE)

The mission of the Conseil des formations et de la vie étudiante (CFVE) is to develop, coordinate and manage the training programs offered at Inalco (national bachelor's and master's degrees and institutional diplomas).
The CFVE is responsible for developing, coordinating and managing Inalco's training programs (national bachelor's and master's degrees and institutional diplomas).

Next elections: Thursday, November 13 to Friday, November 14 (single round)

The council's missions

The mission of the Conseil des formations et de la vie étudiante (CFVE) is to develop, coordinate and manage the training courses offered at Inalco (national bachelor's and master's degrees and institutional diplomas).
It drives and organizes within the establishment reflection on the training offer, and reflection on pedagogical practices.
These missions include in particular:
- drawing up and monitoring syllabuses in compliance with regulations, setting up and monitoring courses, setting up and monitoring training and teaching assessments;
- drawing up course and examination timetables, setting up knowledge control procedures, drawing up examination and diploma juries, monitoring the teaching of mobile students ;
- the examination of requests for resources in the form of additional hours and hours of teaching vacations, for which it arbitrates;
- issues relating to student life previously dealt with by the CVEC Commission (CoCVEC);
- issues relating to disability.

Who votes?

All students regularly enrolled at Inalco in a dipoma course during the 2025-2026 academic year will be eligible to vote

Number of seats to be filled: 6 seats (6 titular and 6 substitute)

All seats are vacant, but as these are by-elections, the students elected will serve for 1 year, until December 2026.


As this is a first-past-the-post election, the top three candidates will be elected incumbents and the next three will be alternates.

  Filing of candidacies (deadlines) from Tuesday, November 4 at 9 a.m. to Friday, November 7, 2025 at 12 p.m.
  Single round of voting from Thursday, November 13 at 9 am to Friday, November 14, 2025 at 12 pm

Proclamation of results Within 3 days of the end of electoral operations

How will the elections be held?

The elections will be held over the Internet (electronic voting). Those concerned will receive via their personal e-mail a login and a link to create a password, as well as the link to the site where the vote will take place.

The electoral lists will be posted in the lobby of the 2nd floor of the PLC and will also be available for consultation at the Maison de la recherche.
